To start, we’ll state right out that the Dandadan anime is slated for release in October of 2024.

This was confirmed in March of 2024 via Crunchyroll, but a firm release date still hasn’t been provided at this time. Regardless, it at least narrows the series’ release window so that it’s within the Fall 2024 anime season.

If we had to guess though, we’d say the series is likely to drop sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 14. This would allow the series to kick off within the first couple weeks of the season and wrap up its first cour either before the end of the year or shortly into the next.

Which Streaming Platforms Will Dandadan Be on? Explained

As for which streaming platforms are most likely to stream Dandadan, it’s safe to say Crunchyroll is locked in as its primary streaming source.

The platform broke the news of the series’ narrowed release window and confirmed it would be available to watch via the service. Not only that, but they’re now the ones leading the charge with new news about the series and what it will entail.

It’s still possible Dandadan will be viewable via other services like Hulu or Netflix, but for now Crunchyroll will be the only surefire way to make sure you see the series as soon as it airs.

Finally, there’s the question of when the English dub for the Dandadan anime will go live. Though we can’t say for certain when this will occur until we get a firm release date for the series, we can at least narrow down the timeframe based on a few scenarios.

Given Dandadan is set to stream on Crunchyroll, it’s safe to say we can expect the English dub to kick off three weeks after the premiere of the first subbed episode. This means dub watchers will need to wait a little longer to see the series’ latest episodes, but it’ll be well worth it given the quality of some of Crunchyroll’s more recent dub works.

And with that, you’re all caught up on when the Dandadan anime is coming out. For more on the series, check out our chapter release date calendar for the manga.
